Private Group Events

Planning a special event in the Destin area? We have a unique alternative to the typical wedding, family reunion, office gathering or just an occasion to get friends together. The Daniel Webster Clements is available for afternoon and evening private charters for groups of up to 47 people. This schooner is blessed with plenty of deck space for entertaining groups of this size allowing passengers to serve your favorite snacks, circulate around the vessel to visit and enjoy each other's company.

We sail into the Gulf typically. The "Clements" is a very wide and stable vessel with very little "heel" so passengers, beverages, and snacks stay upright! The ride is very easy and relaxing. Dolphin typically swim over and join us alongside and we enjoy seeing a variety of sealife as we glide along effortlessly under full sail in the crystal clear Gulf waters. If you haven't sailed an authentic wooden schooner you have missed an experience of a lifetime!

We have ice chests available on deck, food is served, picnic style, on the cabin tops on deck or from the spacious galley down below. Above and below decks the "Clements" reflects its historical nautical heritage. We have a good variety of relaxing music to enjoy on deck during your event and you can even bring your own CD collection.

Rates and Reservations: Our private group events sail for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

Our minimum private rate is $1200 which can include up to 20 passengers. Each additional passenger over 20 is an additional $20.

A crew tip of 15% will be added to the cost of your charter. We accept Master Card, Visa, and American Express, personal checks, cash or travelers checks. Please call in advance for your reservation.
